Dear Father, we're at a crucial time in our nation and our eyes are on You Lord, You who answers prayers.

Father we thank You for how You have kept us as a nation thus far. We acknowledge Your deliverances and Your interventions in this nation.

We thank You for Nigeria.

But for Your help things would have been worse. We're grateful for all Your Spirit is doing in this nation.

As we prepare for the elections this weekend, Lord we ask for mercy on Nigeria.

We ask in sync with Psalm 102:13 that You arise and have mercy on us as a nation because the set time of favour for our nation has come.

Father, please deliver Nigeria from unreasonable and wicked men.

In the next four years that follow these elections that hold this Saturday, may the gospel of Jesus Christ have free course in Nigeria and be glorified like never before

According to Psalm 35:27 we pray that as a result of the elections this weekend, let the candidates who will favour your righteous cause shout for joy and be glad. May the results of this election go in their favour.

According to Psalms 72:2-4 and verse 7, we pray for leaders to emerge from these elections whose rule in this land will improve the economy of Nigeria; we ask for leaders who will uphold the cause of justice and people in whose time Nigeria shall experience an abundance of peace.

Father we ask for leaders whose reign will give free course to the flourishing of the righteous, in the name of Jesus.

In line with Job 5:12-16 and Isaiah 54:17 we speak against the intentions and agendas of wicked men in Nigeria who consider themselves to be wise and crafty.

We curse their systems and schemes with unproductivity. Dear Father, frustrate that which they have designed against the well being of this nation in this season.

In the name of Jesus we declare that their strategies go wrong. Their plans fail abruptly and they are unable to give effect to the things they have purposed.

According to Psalms 33:10 and Isaiah 8:10 our God causes their thoughts to fail. Their plans and blueprints are frustrated and made void in the name of Jesus.

We declare that Ezekiel 21:26-27 is our experience as a nation in this season.

From the heads of all those who have been in authority but have not done the will of God, we take away the crown. In this election and the elections that follow, we strip them of their leadership authority in the name of Jesus.

We declare that there will not be a repetition or continuation of their tyranny.

Father you said You'll overturn and overturn until it comes to the person whose right it is and that You'll give it to him.

Therefore we ask that an overturning of the current order take place in the course of this election.

Let the seats of the enemies of national peace and prosperity be given to Cyrus kind of men and women who will rule with the fear of God.

According to 1 Thessalonians 3:16 Father we ask for peace by all means.

From north to South, east to west, let the elections in Nigeria this weekend be characterized by the peace that only You can give.

You're our God of peace, therefore may every agenda of confusion be supernaturally crushed according to Romans 16:20.

Father we ask according to Nehemiah 2:20 that the men, women and youth in Nigeria will see that You our God will prosper our nation, therefore may they be stirred to arise this weekend and build Nigeria with their votes.

As you touched the hearts of men for Saul in 1 Samuel 10:26, we ask in the name of Jesus that for the elections this weekend You touch the hearts of the citizens of our nation to rise and make a statement with their votes for those You have chosen for our nation.

We thank You Father for being ever faithful and ever dependable. We rejoice in what You have done and are doing.

We already see ourselves return after the elections with singing before You for all You have done for our nation.

Thank You Father, in Jesus name.
