LOVE'S EXPRESSION

Col 3:13-14
13 Make allowance for each other’s faults, and forgive anyone who offends you. Remember, the Lord forgave you, so you must forgive others. 14 Above all, clothe yourselves with love, which binds us all together in perfect harmony.


When I think about true love, that which always comes up in my mind is forgiveness. I know I can say forgiveness is clearest expression of love. This is so because the human nature always would want to have its own way,to do things that would satisfy its desires, its wants and its needs. Naturally we want to settle the scores and get even with people.

Forgiveness is strange to the selfish human nature except the person is drawing inspiration from God. Little wonder it is said that to err is human (that is, its just part of the human nature) but to forgive is divine or better still supernatural and that's because it is love that gives birth to forgiveness.

To live a life of love is the greatest fulfilment one could ever have. The life spent in love is liberated from the confusion of darkness and opened up to the beautiful and magnificent clarity of great light. It's good to love God but that's not enough, choose to truly love people also.
