"Without Communication there is no relationship, without respect there is no love, without trust there is no reason to continue. Trust is the glue of life. It's the most essential ingredient in effective communication. It's the foundational principle that holds all relationships." - Steven Covey.

Pro 31:11-12 (NKJV)
11 The heart of her husband safely trusts her; So he will have no lack of gain. 12 She does him good and not evil all the days of her life.

There is a branch in the tree of love that many have forgotten. It's called trust. Claiming to love somebody is not enough. In the opening quote trust is likened to the foundation that any masterpiece/edifice is built upon. It's about the most important quality that makes a relationship lasting. To love is to make yourself vulnerable. In a relationship of true love, trust is offered freely and it grows even greater as that which is given is justified.

Trust should be given and maintained by both parties involved in the relationship. Many people tend to believe that it's impossible to trust someone but that's not true. Trust is something we don't see yet its very essential to a relationship, no matter the amount. It's left for the individuals in a relationship to decide how much trust they want operative in the relationship.

Trust is both the reason for love as well as the result of love. One may love you because they can trust you and may trust you because they love you. Everyone wants a relationship where they are honoured, valued and respected and that could be made possible if the trust for each other is as strong as the love for each other. To love someone is invariably to trust that person.
