There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear involves torment. But he who fears has not been made perfect in love.


When it comes to the word perfection, one thing is for sure, it never relates to human beings. This is so because with all our flaws, errors and shortcomings, perfection is excluded owing to its meaning which doesn't give room for humans except a higher being, God. But there is every possibility that man can be clothed with perfection and the only sure thing that does that is when he is drenched in true love.

Could it be that you are just a step away from making a decision that would sure be a blessing to you but you still feel restraints in your heart mainly due to uncertainties arising from someone's flaws? You're forgetting that everybody does have flaws and people do not change unless they want to and/or are helped by God.

Genuine and constant love can speed up people's personal desire to change and it provides the divine help that makes change possible. This is love's miracle. God loved us into changing. That is, we changed because of His love He directed to us. When this dawns on you, you realise that we come to love not by finding a perfect person but by choosing to see an imperfect person perfectly.
