"Those who love you are not fooled by mistakes you have made or dark images you hold about yourself. They remember your beauty when you feel ugly, your wholeness when you are broken, your innocence when you feel guilty, and your purpose when you are confused" - Alan Cohen

Prov. 10: 12 (ESV)
Hatred stirs up strife, but love covers all offences.

Love is one sure necessity that everyone yearns for and would not reject when it comes to them but unfortunately today, it has been confused with a lot of 'look alike' versions such as lust, infatuation, pretence and greed. Perhaps you have been in such a relationship in the past where you thought you had found true love but it turned out to be one of its look alike forms, and you felt empty afterwards and gave up on the possibility of ever experiencing true love. The Lord will have me tell you that you should learn from HIM. Forgive yourself because HE has forgiven you, let go of the hurts and open your heart again and you will find true love.

Before this happens though it's important that you learn from God's heart what love really is otherwise you may find yourself embracing a counterfeit version yet again. It is also vital that you devote yourself to living a life of love towards people because if you want to eventually take in a particular kind of harvest, it is only smart of you to plant that seed well ahead of time. As today's quote and verse illustrate, love makes you see people the way God sees them. Love has the attitude of reminding people of their strengths. It stirs people to achieve more and produce more by placing their good points before their eyes when life gives them a thousand and one reasons why they cannot make progress.

Love does not deny that people have faults but at the same time it does not focus on those faults. It acknowledges the fact that people are liable to error and so does not make a big deal of their shortcomings, rather it creates room for their errors and does not read their mistakes as a deliberate attempt to hurt. Love does not place the label of people's error on them; it does not brand you according to their failures. Love always opens up a fresh page and because love does not want to remember your faults, love will not even remind you of them. By sowing this beautiful seed of love into the lives of people, we can give them the assistance they need to be their very best.
