Many men claim to be men of unfailing love, but who can find a faithful man?


How I so love the Word of God! I actually think there's no word that can be used to truly describe it because even God Himself exalts it above his name. God's name speaks of His identity yet He gives more honour to His word than He does His name. Can you beat that? The Bible, God's Word, is the only complete book on the surface of our planet earth because it has answers to everything and anything that pertains to your life's experiences. Now let's go to the meat of today's gist. No doubt the opening quote must have caught the attention of men, as well as women. For men, they would be like, "Okay, let's see what she has to say with this" and for women, I can assure you they'll be so excited because such information about the opposite sex thrills them.

There are men and there are real men. Now what I mean is, men are everywhere with different grades of masculinity, character and the like, you just name it. And when it comes to the motions of the heart, most of these men go the direction the wind blows - anywhere. I once heard of a marriage counsellor who is also a minister, who asked a young man what kind of woman he would want to get married to and to his utmost surprise the response he received was, ' I wanna marry a woman with big busts.' That's just an example of the way many men think. Most men are controlled by their sensual desires and lack the maturity to see beyond what meets the eyes. Real men however, have trained themselves to make decisions differently and these men are rare. Real men are those who have made up their minds to be led not just by their instincts or presumptions or desires but by something much greater which the physical eyes cannot optically recognise. I call it purpose.

Real men are men of vision who operate with the compass of purpose reinforced by the Word of Truth. Such men have brought themselves to the place of maturity and there is a stability about them. They are the kind of men you'd be most glad you made the right decision to stay with. Okay ladies, here's a word for you. Before you give a man the keys to your heart and life, think with your heart, enlighten your mind and make a decision from your heart (not just from your head), so that you'll be blessed all the days of your life. This is better and more profitable than choosing a man merely because he's the cutest in the block or because his bank account reads millions or because there's something about him you just can't explain. My hope and prayer for you is that you have true joy and lasting happiness in your home. If you re a man, this comes from training yourself to be a faithful man. If you're a woman, it comes from choosing to go with a faithful man. Now you know, please make it count.
