LOVE'S GUARANTEE

1 Jn. 2:10-11 (ISV)
The person who loves his brother abides in the light, and there is no reason for him to stumble. But the person who hates his brother is in the darkness and lives in the darkness. He does not know where he is going, because the darkness has blinded his eyes.


I am happy God placed this responsibility on my shoulders to teach people about the importance of love and how to love. As I read today's opening scripture, it gives me joy to know that I am helping to open blind eyes and to keep people on the path of success. Love will help you succeed. Love will keep you out of darkness. A person walking in darkness can fall into a ditch, run into obstacles and stumble over things because he cannot see which direction he's going neither can he recognize the things around him. He is exposed to danger and can hurt himself. This is how the Bible describes the person who does not love people.

Sometimes we all feel like we should not love certain people because of their "kind if personality" but today's quote let's us know that we should not only love people because they appear worthy of our love but because we love God. Our love for God makes us place value on people because we understand that loving people is the proof that we love God. He gave us love as a free gift and we ought to give it to others as a free gift too. Somehow the free gift of love changes people, even their deepest attitudes. I have seen this happen time and time again. You can even tell by looking at yourself. God did not give up on you and somehow today, His love has made you a better person.

Everyone wants ti walk in a place that is well lit because somehow that makes you sure of where you're going and it gives you speed. Loving your partner/spouse and the people you come in contact with, places you in the light. Our verse today says nothing can make you stumble when you're walking in the light. In other words, love can guarantee your success. This tells me that the problem many people have really is not the devil or the economy or the other things we often blame failures on. Success has a lot to do with living a life of love and failure has a lot to do with not living a life of love. Not every successful person loves people but everyone who loves people is on the path of success. Love guarantees success. I want you to succeed in your relationship, in your marriage, in your home and in life.
