LOVE'S OFFER

[That you may really come] to know [practically, through experience for yourselves] the love of Christ, which far surpasses mere knowledge [without experience]; that you may be filled [through all your being] unto all the fullness of God [may have the richest measure of the divine Presence, and become a body wholly filled and flooded with God Himself].


The happenings in recent times have become a cause of concern to everyone living on planet Earth, and has made people wonder if things would indeed actually get better or otherwise. From the wars and rumors of war in and around different nations, to the attacks by terrorists and the cases of insurgents killing innocent lives, to the environmental hazards such as earthquakes and famines, the discoveries of new viruses plaguing man and with the news on our faces each day, in the minds of many people there seems to be no end to trouble. I have just decided to pen my thoughts this way since I heard of the passing away of a onetime foremost gospel artist here in Nigeria. It got me thinking of a couple of well known personalities around us who suddenly went to the great beyond without knowing that the day of their transit would come unannounced.

I asked myself a question, the answer to which I have put down as the opening quote for today and before I knew it, the answer came just right from the Spirit of God talking to me through my colleague, as He made us go through a passage of scripture together. Then it came to me yet again why God himself had started Love Issues through me to reach out to people all around the world and make them see why true love needs to be preached everyday and in every way. God wants people to see and believe in its magnificent power to heal and transform anyone it touches. As I have said in many different ways, true love is seen in and known by focusing on the person of Christ Jesus. I know He is the answer for the world today. True love can only be found in Him because He's true love personified. God is love and Christ is Love's offer.

You see, living in this life is a privilege but not having the source of eternal life is as good as a waste. God's intention is that you enjoy life to the fullest. He wants you to live in eternal bliss. The fall of mankind from the place God designed because of what the first man Adam did, cut that beautiful plan of God short. To re-align humanity with His good intent, God almighty had to bring man back by sending His only Son to be punished for all of mankind's disobedience and sins. God decided He didn't want to live without us. Today whoever would receive the Love he has offered us in His Son will be made right with Him. This means that such an individual will continue life eternally with God after life on earth ends. There is so much hope for you and that hope can only be found in the love of God. Allow God transform the world today through you as you accept and receive his love to spread to others. God bless you.
