"Nobody has ever measured, even poets, how much a heart can hold.” -Zelda Fitzgerald

Phil. 4:13 (AMP)
I have strength for all things in Christ Who empowers me [I am ready for anything and equal to anything through Him Who infuses inner strength into me; I am self-sufficient in Christ's sufficiency].

There is something about the human inner man. Many times we refer to this as the heart of a person or the spirit of a person. God has given the heart of man (especially the individual who has come into personal relationship with Him) an amazing capacity to accommodate, contain and express a shocking magnitude of love. Today I want to attempt to remind us of this capacity. The first thing I want to remind you of today as we try to examine the provisions of this capacity is that there is no one that you cannot love. You see, your ability to love people is not based in what they do or do not do; it is based rather on the capacity of your heart. It doesn't matter how people treat us, how they are not willing to treat us, how they stand against our progress or whatever they do, we can love them because in our union with Christ there now is the capacity within us to love them. Your heart can treat people better than your head thinks. Today remember you can love anybody.

In examining the capacity of our inward man the second thing I want to remind you of is that you can forgive anybody of anything. One of the practical demonstrations of love is forgiveness and you have within you the capacity to forgive anybody of anything. You have hurt God many times and you still do things that are not totally right but He does not hold your faults against you neither does He bear grudges in His heart. If God can always forgive us willingly then, we should do the same for others. Let's not hold grudges against people. Let's remember how good God has been and is to us and allow that inspire us in the way we treat the people around us. Has someone offended you? Has somebody really done something that hurt and devastated you? The truth is that you can truly forgive them. The capacity to do so is on your inside. Now you're a believer in Christ, you are a forgiver by nature. When we have forgiven people it shows in the way we act kindly towards them.

The third and final thing I want to remind you of today is that you can give anything. Giving is a demonstration of love that cannot be over stated. Love makes you give. Love opens your hand. We cannot claim to love when we do not give. Such a claim would be false. Love makes a giver out of you. Great givers are not stupid; they give the way they do because they are people of love. The more we love, the more we give. Nothing in this world is more important than people. We should always value people more than we value things or money. A great person once told me, "Three quarters of what you'll earn in life will be meant for others." That statement blessed me. It made me remember that I'm designed to be a distributor. Let's all begin to think of what we can give and of what we can bless others with. Beginning from where we are and with what we have let's start distributing to the needs of people. Let's give our time, our funds, our listening ears, our helping hands, our service etc. Let's give. You can give far more than you realize you can simply by starting from where you are. The giving capacity is in you. You're a giver by nature, not a taker. Dear friend, have the best of life today as you remember and apply these things.
