LOVE'S LEADING

But for right now, until that completeness, we have three things to do to lead us toward that consummation: Trust steadily in God, hope unswervingly, love extravagantly. And the best of the three is love.


Life as we know it does mean different things to different people at different points in time. Some people are going through their best times right now and do not want it to end while others are experiencing their worst times, hoping and praying to get out of such situations fast. Good times or bad, you have those who define life as what they want it to be and not what their situation makes them believe it is. I am one of such persons. I see life as a collection of varied opportunities aimed at making one better. To make the most of life one of the greatest things we can do is love. God is love. We were all created by love. We were all given life by Love.

This way we can make life worth living, first for ourselves and then for others. Believe me when I tell you it is much more of a blessing when we give love to others than when we receive love from them. But unfortunately the selfish nature of man won't motivate anyone to do so. One would have to make a deliberate choice to do so. No one should count himself great and successful without giving himself to genuine love, for it opens doors of abundance of health and riches to any man who devotes himself to the course of love. Just as today's quote says, your greatness can be measured by how much you allow love lead. The place of having mountain moving faith is vital. The wonderful reward of being full of hope is more than we can explain but even the Bible says it's best to be led by love than to be led by faith or hope.

My dear friend, if love leads in your life it will place in your laps the victories that hope and faith can deliver. Hope as much as you can; believe with all your heart but twice as much as you do these, trust God to help you love others. Do what you believe showing love or giving love to another is. Sometimes, minding our business might not be too good a thing to do especially when you see a need in offering help in any way that could bring change to someone's life. In the little things you do, from that seemingly insignificant gesture you give and that place where you are, let these words inspire love to flow from your heart to those around you. You were created by Love to love. That's your design.
