I came across a poem written and performed by a lady in a movement they call Passion for Christ a few years ago and I thought to myself, "My goodness! That’s some strong faith she’s got.". The poem talked about how much she was ready to wait for the person God would bring into her life and not settle for less. The truth is that she had come to the understanding of what the Lord can do and she completely rested in Him despite the unfavorable past she had been through, the side talks from people around her, the pressure that came from concerned people, and not to mention the depression that often tried to cloud her mind. In the face of all these, she made up her mind to wait and trust in God. The beautiful thing is, little did she know that God had prepared that event for her to meet the man of her dreams. Today they are married and live their lives as a living testimony of what waiting and trusting in God does. For a moment just take a second look at today's quote. Reach a conclusion today that you'll go for what God offers you and that you'll not settle for anything less.

Yes, love indeed is a beautiful thing only when it is experienced the way the Source (God) would have us experience it. I say this because a lot of people might not concur with me due to their terrible past experiences and what they have heard other people say. But all that still doesn't change the reality that love is beautiful. The problem is that many try to do it their own way, following what the general public says love is. The general public did not create love. Love was and still is God's idea. God invented love. Like we do consult the manual for a new equipment we purchase so as to master its use, we need to consult the manual God has prepared for love so as to get the best out of it. The Bible is God's manual. When we learn from Him, following his guidelines and principles, we achieve the grandest benefits love offers. God wants you to be happy and to get the best out of love in this life. He has plans for you, good plans at that. He's on your side. He's planning a future for you, a beautiful future.

For you it may seem right now that the wait is endless but don't give up. After Adam was created it pleased God to bring him a life partner. Don't let people or your experiences deceive you by making you believe marriage is for some selected few. There is a man for every woman and there is a woman for every man. The Bible tells us God created them male and female. Believe this. The only wise God knows how to supply the needs of His children. He won't leave you stranded. Trust Him. Do not look down on yourself no matter how you look or what qualifications you might have. It doesn't even matter how many times you've failed in the past and what people's opinions of you are. What's important is how you look at yourself. What's important is that you believe in yourself. To help you look at yourself right, see yourself the way God sees you. Do not keep company with people who always talk you down and make you feel you're no good. Keep your heart open to what God’s Word says you are. You can have what you want. You can have the best. Only believe.

P.S: It's my pleasure ti inform you that yours truly is participating in the on-going MY BIG NIGERIAN WEDDING competition 2015.

It started in November last year with over 140 couples in the first stage.

At the end of Stage 1, the first 50 couples in terms of number of votes, crossed into Stage 2. From this stage only 10 couples will move on to the final stage where the winner of the competition will be selected.
