"I have seen faith rise 'mountain high' when the truth of God's present love and compassion begins to dawn upon the minds and hearts of the people. It is not what God can do, but what we know He yearns to do, that inspires faith." - F. F Bosworth

2 Corinthians 9:8 (OEBus)
God has power to shower all kinds of blessings on you, so that, having, under all circumstances and on all occasions, all that you can need, you may be able to shower all kinds of benefits on others.

The issue of supply in different areas of life is a matter of concern to many intending and married couples. You don't have to resort to managing and doing without what you know you need. My job today is to help you see that God wants to supply every of your needs. Think for a moment with me. Is there really any wealthy and responsible father who prefers to see his children suffer and go empty handed? It's a deceit of the devil to represent God in this light to us and to make us feel that He doesn't take interest in our supplies.

Dear friend, hear me loud and clear, God is more concerned about your welfare than you are. If He could have His way, He wants to flood you with so much that you'll literally be a dispenser of all kinds of good things. God isn't just thinking of giving you enough to eat today and tomorrow. No, He wants to shower so much on you that others will come to you to have their needs met. That's the kind of Father you have if you have received the new life that Jesus brought from Heaven.

God loves you more than anything you can understand. His heart beats tenderly for you. There's no love on earth that can compare to the intensity of love God has for His children. Think about it. God stepped down from His majesty and came to our level in the form of a man. He died a shameful death just to make sure He won us back from Satan's control. If someone could give his life for you, won't he be at least willing to share what He has with you? Supplying your needs is the least God wants to do for you. He's on your side. He's for you. He's not the one keeping good things away from you. He's been trying to get them to you all along.

Is your relationship/marriage lacking something good? You can rest firmly assured that God is more eager to get these things into your hands than you are to have them. Your enemy isn't God but the wicked one, Satan. But thank God we have the victory always in Jesus Christ our Lord. When you believe in God's love for you and in the fact that He's eager to supply your needs, you and God come into agreement as it were, and then the blessings can flow. But if you keep seeing God as one who doesn't want you to have what you need, you'll be both agreeing and siding with the devil, and as a result you'll be unable to enjoy God's supplies.

My friend, I'm saying all these because seeing that God loves you and yearns to supply your needs is one way your faith grows strong. Faith is crucial to receiving what you desire. So, set your heart on God's love for you and allow your faith soar this moment. God is our God but He isn't just our God. Much more than being our God, He is our Father. As our Father He's responsible for us. He cares as a father does. In fact, He cares a trillion times more than the most caring earthly father does. He has plans for us as a father should. He's delighted when all goes well with us. He is always good and His mercy (His forgiving love) has no end.

Jesus said any two persons who agree can get God to do anything for them. The greatest bond on earth is when two persons come together and pray in agreement. One of the things marriage does is to offer you this great opportunity. If you are looking forward to being married, you and your partner can agree as touching anything you desire. Arm your mind with today's scripture and set yourself to take that which belongs to you. Do not relent in prayer and giving thanks to God until He showers, "... all kinds of blessings on you, so that, having, under all circumstances and on all occasions, all that you can need, you may be able to shower all kinds of benefits on others."
