Dear friends, let us practice loving each other, for love comes from God and those who are loving and kind show that they are the children of God, and that they are getting to know him better. But if a person isn’t loving and kind, it shows that he doesn’t know God—for God is love.
It's baffling and disheartening how much evil has eaten deep into the fabric of our way of life in this world this day. So many sorrowful news in the tabloids and media. See how man has become his own enemy, fighting against each other, killing and tearing apart, setting up one nation against another.
We see one evil leading to the growth and maturity of another that is even much stronger and more mean. One begins to wonder where and how we got it all wrong. How did we come this far on this unfortunate path? Are we to blame ourselves or is there someone or something else we are to blame for this unfortunate state?
A friend did an experiment to see what topics and articles would pull a lot of traffic to his blog. It wasn't so surprising the results he got. He had to remind himself of the moral decadence around. Words and articles on godly topics didn't do much at all as compared to secular topics on every and all matters one can think of. No wonder it is said that anything gospel doesn't pull as much crowd as the secular and many times, worldly would. My aim today isn't to discuss the rift between gospel or secular, it's to give out what every human being needs. My focus is to promote that one thing that can transform the world to become a better place. Are we not tired of the wickedness we see happening around us, the unrest beaming in every corner all because no one is willing to play humble and meek at heart for love to reign?
True love is the antidote of all menace from faulty families and corrupt society to broken homes and wrong relationships. No matter what is trending in the world today, only the right word, the word of truth can change people's situation around for good. The Bible shows us God is love. God created this world and only His way of doing things can make life on earth meaningful. Let me say that in another way. Love created this world and only doing things love's way can make living on earth worthwhile. I challenge you to defer to love today. Allow love rule your actions, words, decisions and attitude towards others. You'll notice your life just got better in a single day. Yes, in just one day.
