Chiwetel Ejiofor Celebrates his Medical Doctor Sister Kandi’s Wedding in Enugu.
American based actor Chiwetel Ejiofor came to his hometown Enugu, Nigeria recently to celebrate his sister’s igba nkwu – Igbo traditional wedding/wine-carrying ceremony.
His sister Kandibe Ejiofor is a medical doctor and married her ‘Yoruba King’ Dele.
An adorable video was shared on Instagram where her brother Chiwetel was teasing that her husband is nowhere to be found! Since in Igbo tradition, she must present him with palm wine to drink, this would mean there’s no union, but it was only a joke. They clearly have a strong bond. Her sister, CNN anchor Zain Asher can also be seen dancing happily.
