LOVE'S IMMUNITY

The opening quote brought an intriguing thought to my mind as I read it through and through. it took me quite some time before I really got to appreciate and understand what it meant. I had to go down memory lane and remember some experiences that life has brought me and indeed I'm truly grateful to God for the strength of character that resulted and the blessed hope to continue doing what's right. Truth be told, there will arise great difficulties as you follow the path of love. Challenges will arise and sometimes it will seem as if all hell has broken loose. Many people instead of appreciating you, will hate you for it. Others will scorn and segregate you. Refuse to cower.

True love is such a great strength that can endure the test of whatever comes its way. No matter how many times discouragement comes and no matter the different forms such as hurts, emotional pains or the feelings of distress, Love only gets stronger and never throws in the trowel. Love carries on to the point where it sees all that comes against it as stepping stones rather than stumbling blocks. This is why the Holy Writ tells us love never fails. Love is not daunted. Love sees the big picture from where she is at the present moment, just as the One who knows the end of a thing from its beginning. God is love. Remind yourself that love cannot be overcome. Sooner or later everything will bow its knees in surrender to Love.

As you keep loving even the power of hurt that the opposition brings will fail. Love out lasts anything. True Love is Eternal. You will find encouragement in the love you have chosen to keep walking in because love is complete. Love is a force that overcomes its opposition. When you no longer feel like loving remember that love is generated by a decision that stems from a conviction. We love because we have the conviction that it's our nature to love and loving is the right thing to do. People do not identify us as God's people by the clothes we wear or the words we use when we speak, no. What shows the whole world that we are in relationship with God is the love we show one another. Love is a force to be reckoned with. It a key that opens many doors and the best gift to be given to anyone.
