"Deep inside we know the truth, the light of love and relationship don't snap on the floodlight at the flip of a magic switch. They twinkle on,one at a time like stars, like the fire flies glowing from the unexpected corner of a still summer night" - Dee Lee Wilson
S.O.S 2:7 (NLT)
Promise me, O women of Jerusalem,
by the gazelles and wild deer,
not to awaken love until the time is right.
I recently took time to go through the book of the Songs of Solomon and I was thrilled by the well constructed lines of words that expressed true love between a man and his bride. Prior to that time I sort of thought to myself what good about love could a man who had a lot of women in his life possibly say. But God himself who knows all things allowed him write under inspiration and it was included in scriptures majorly to explain the love that Christ has for His bride, the church.
As the verse reads, the bride had come to understand what true love is and how deep and rich it would be if given its timing to develop on its own and so she advised her friends not to manipulate or hasten or quicken love until it awakes at its time. She repeated that advice three times in this book of Songs. Now that's because true love is a product of knowledge and a decision to hold on to one whom you decide to be committed to. It is by this sort of love that relationships and marriages can last long and beautifully well.
There is a desire in me that people are taught what true love is and for it not to be mistaken as romantic love which in itself can not hold for a long period of time and that the truth of God's Word about love is accepted and embraced by all, taught to our children and generations to come that we shall have fulfilment and joy everlasting in our relationships.
Keep Loving,Keep Living..............LOVE ISSUES.

True love come through a decision that is informed by knowledge of the word and not by emotions. Thank you for such timely words.
