Sometimes we tend to get lost in the pursuit of life's necessities that we forget to fend for ourselves not just physically but also emotionally and spiritually. As a matter of fact some only think that their five senses are all that make up their being which really isn't. People need to be reminded that they ought to take responsibility for their lives and the people around them. Friendship is not by force but by choice. You ought to pursue the right things and the right values, then the right people will come after you. Your values determine your association.

The way we see ourselves matters too. Do you see yourself as someone who cannot amount to much or do you see yourself as someone who has a great future? Your answer to this question has a lot to do with the way you choose friends. When we continue in self-pity, multiple selfish reasons for careless living will spring up and don't be shocked who you end up with. Some people who have lived in low self esteem and self pity have ended up in relationships where they've been abused emotionally and/or physically. Your self image determines who you attract and how they treat you. There's a season that never fades from the earth and that's the sowing and reaping season.

It is popularly said by motivational speakers that you can't give what you don't have, not because its just a cliche but because it's actually a reality. The verse of scripture we're considering today is very instructive. If your wisdom level is low and you lack the right well of information that should provide you with good knowledge, then do not expect a miracle outside your belief system. The kind of seed you plant will determine the kind of harvest you get. Simply put, you'll attract your kind. Rather than stare at the blue sky waiting and doing nothing, go ahead and get information from books, articles, seminars and relationship write ups. Invest your time in eliminating ignorance and uplifting your wisdom status.
