LOVE'S SECURITY

There is no fear in love [dread does not exist], but full-grown (complete, perfect) love turns fear out of doors and expels every trace of terror! For fear brings with it the thought of punishment, and [so] he who is afraid has not reached the full maturity of love [is not yet grown into love’s complete perfection].


For some time now, I have had the privilege of revealing to people the state of God's heart concerning us by sharing with them what God considers paramount. It's been so humbling to know it pleased God to use me as a channel to disseminate the values of His kingdom, bringing people to see what true love is. Today we're looking at the home. When love is taken away from a home, from a family, all manner of ill consequences take place from mistrust to separation, fear, unhappiness, disappointments, divorce, low self esteem etc. You even find that failure starts harboring in the minds and lives of children from broken homes. Why is this so? The answer is simple. It's because one singular, yet the most important value - love, which should be the foundation of every home, has been taken out and cut short by the selfish nature of man.

No matter who you are or where you're from, there's something true about you and everyone else - we all want a sense of security. This is why for example, we get educated and are not satisfied with a weak level of education, so, we do our best to go further. The need for security is the reason why we set goals to attain our desired heights of education. We want to be secure in our various fields of endeavour; we want to feel secure when we present ourselves or express ourselves anywhere. It's the same reason why people invest their time and money in putting security measures in place to ensure their lives and properties are in tact. For instance, you find a prominent person walk into a place and although he's the boss, his bodyguards tell him how to move and where to sit etc. It's true that we all appreciate the need for security.

Fear is the order of the day when one's peace is taken away due to the absence of security. Jesus Christ came to give us a reason to be at ease in this life. He brought God's love to us to put our hearts at rest. Perfect love chases fear; it casts it away. This is what happens when your heart is filled with God's love for you until His love pours out through you to others. Fear cannot thrive where love reigns. The greatest level of security from any and all vices of evil in this world and even in the world to come, is a life deep in and overflowing with true love. Love will calm your heart and chase the fears away. You can't have a heart attack if you allow love reign in your heart. I plead with you my dear friend, listen to the voice of love and follow it. Where there's no fear people are happy and they display great excitement. This is how God wants you to live. It's love that creates this kind of atmosphere a reality. You can make your home like this. Allow love reign in your home.
