Love is a beautiful thing. Everyone wants to experience true love because it has no side effects. Some got into what they felt was love so early or very suddenly and when they didn't see what they had always heard of and fantasized, they became devastated and gave up on. Some didn't even have a clue how to go about love but they allowed their peers and the media frame their understanding of love. Wanting to fall in love, they chased the mirage that the media presented. They crashed in and out of relationships but didn't get the best out of them. A lot of people especially the young adults believe true love is found in someone of the opposite sex and so they hurry to get into a relationship without even really knowing who they themselves in the first place and without getting the basic foundation that true love should be built upon to enjoy its best.

The best of relationships come about when two whole, unique, emotionally intact individuals come together. When each has an understanding of their identity and that Jesus is the One who completes them, they do not look for someone else to complete them. Your time of being a single is therefore very important. It's the time to build yourself up in certain life changing core values. Your relationship and marriage only brings to the table the values and characters that you imbibed in yourself during your days of being single. It's vital for you to get yourself established in Christ. You have to come to that point where knowing Christ and your identity in Him has filled you with a robust sense of purpose, worth, value and completeness. This is when you should get into a relationship to marry someone else because this is when you're ready to be a blessing. Until you build yourself to this point, frankly you're only going to be a liability.

One sure way to get the best out of true love and to have that beautiful relationship you want is to let the Word of God be your foundation. So, get your heart strongly planted and rooted in the teachings of the Word. Successful homes don't just happen. They are built and this is how it's done, The Word will bring you good in this life but more importantly, the Word will give you fulfilment in life. Nothing else and no one else can give you this. What we all seek is this fulfilment in our relationships and marriages. It's therefore my hope, passion and prayers that our young ones, teenagers,adolescents and young adults be properly taught the true basics of love so that their future would not be jeopardized. Perhaps you didn't learn all these before you got into your relationship and perhaps before you got married. In God every situation has a remedy. Every material thing was made by God's Word. Therefore, the same Word can repair anything. Today you can start repairing and rebuilding your relationship/home.
