LOVE'S PATIENCE

It's no longer news that we live in a society where everyone wants to get results or get rich in the quickest and fastest way, so, they do anything to make sure they have what they want not minding if it's at the expense of others. They go in the way of being selfish and lying their way through to the top and throwing caution to the wind. Surprisingly, they do 'succeed' and rise fast, making it seem as if their route is the best way to get results. Yet there are a few people who would rather do things the way they believe is right, showing love and concern to/for others and being selfless. These people only want to live in accordance to the Word of God and might not appear to get the same kind of 'results' when others do. One might be forced to ask, "Does it mean that those who are selfish, who don't love and care about people actually prosper more and get the upper hand in life?" Certainly not.

There are set principles in this world. When a person does actions that tally with these principles, the desired results will follow because the principle has been operated. For instance, birds can fly because they have got wings to do so and they use their wings. Also, fishes can survive in water because they have got what it takes to breathe and manoeuvre in water. It's the same thing when it comes to man. If anyone chooses to accept and live by what God's Word teaches, it does not matter what goes on around you or how long it appears to take, he or she would in the long run be blessed and placed above his contemporaries. The Word of God contains the principles of God. Loving people, functioning by integrity and living by truth daily, brings about spiritual blessings that surely manifest themselves in the physical. You can rest assured of that.

Dear friend, no matter how things are right now, be strong, be steady in your patience and continue to do that which is right. Continue to love. I can relate with what you're going through but one thing is for sure, you will be glad you didn't quit. It takes faith to overcome in this world. Faith often means that you keep going on doing what God's Word teaches even when all those around you make you feel you're a fool. Make up your mind to stand out, you don't have to follow the rest of the world in doing things that aren't acceptable in the sight of God. You are different. Live different. Treat people with care and honour. Everyone you see was made in God's image and likeness. When we honour people, we're honoring God. Choose to live right and see yourself soar like an eagle in the affairs of life. It may seem to delay or to tarry but it will surely come to pass. Understand that when you live the life of love, Heaven's forces are despatched to help you become all you should be in this life. Love gives you durable results that will last for a lifetime. Love is Heaven's culture. Living a life of love is the way you and I live the life of Heaven on this earth.
