2 Timothy 1:7
For God has not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.

We live in a world where abnormalities and abominations have become the new norm for many. Sadly, this is what many people have come to adopt and accept as true in almost every area of their lives, mainly because it seems to be the in-thing that majority of those who are paraded as celebrities practice. Others embrace such lifestyles because speedy results that appear positive and successful seem to accompany such ways of life. The words of the prophets in Scriptures are fast being fulfilled in our day and time.

Just the other day I saw on the news how teenagers in a part of the world were so scared of resuming (going back to) school because they were afraid of being bullied. It is said that quite a number of poor innocent children commit suicide as a result of the psychological trauma they undergo from school and other places where they get to be under peer pressure. It hurts so bad to see these children take their own lives but it even hurts more to realise that the primary reason is because love is not taking its its rightful place in the hearts of people.

The answer to these problems isn't far-fetched as today's scripture rightly says. God whose nature is true love hasn't given people the spirit of fear but of love, of power and of a sound mind. There happens to be a lot of chaos in some parts of the world today mainly because people have neglected the only teaching that can preserve and protect life. Imagine how properly formed a child would be if the child is brought up in the way of the Lord, with the right teachings imbibed into them from a tender age to know who they are in Christ. Such children will stand up for God and won't be intimidated by fellow kids who try to bully other kids by instilling fear into them. As a matter of fact, the bullies will avoid such kids who know who they are in Christ.

It has been discovered that many bullies are from broken homes or homes with some form of dysfunction in parenting. Just imagine what our society would be like if children are brought up in an environment of true love. No doubt, the world would be a better place. If true love is taught and practiced; if true love reigns, surely this world will be a better place. Our living experiences change for the better; yes, our homes are positively transformed when we think, speak and behave in ways consistent with true love. This is why God inspired the birth of LOVE ISSUES, to be that catalyst that will launch people into God's desired habitat of love where God wants us to live.

In the midst of a depraved society, I encourage you to choose to be different, my dear friend. Stand out and stand for true love that is able to change and transform the world for good. Don't look for a revolution, rather be the revolution in your circle. Start the transformation by being the transformation. Live love and rub off on others around you. Don't think it's outdated to be full of compassion, to be kind towards people or to reach out to someone who's in need of love either by word or action. It's my prayer that true love will prevail in you from today.

Keep Loving, Keep Living...............LOVE ISSUES
