DEPRESSED LOVE

Indeed, the LORD is the One who will keep on walking in front of you. He’ll be with you and won’t leave you or abandon you, so never be afraid and never be dismayed.”

He sat there under a tree just right at the middle of the road which led to his home. He must have had so many thoughts running through his little mind.
How could he go back to a house he once knew as home; how would he be spending separate times with his dad and mum; how could he go back to school with the new status of 'child from a broken home'. All these made Gregory,  a third grade student cry uncontrollably as he sat there lost in his thoughts and obviously depressed.

 Like him, many people are finding it difficult in their relationships due to fears of the unknown. Many no longer have hope in marriage as the news of divorce, separation and killings of spouses or partners engulf the media. It has become so common that people see no reason for the marriage commitment. This has made many even think that once they are joined in holy matrimony, then that matrimony is doomed, days are numbered; worse off might last only for few months.

Love is depressed when you can't vouch for the fidelity of the one you are dating, they keep showing the signs but you choose to be blind to them because time is running out on you or more financially loaded than you are. Love is depressed when you are plagued with fears and horror of the broken home you had as a child and you just feel it might also happen to your own home after marriage. Love is depressed when everywhere you look, you see a busted marriage and it gives you the creeps and then you wonder if such  beautiful couples could get separated, how much mine?

Always remember, true love can never be depressed because true love is first a person in the person of Jesus Christ . All that you have seen or perhaps witnessed that has made you have such negative impression about love is just the devil messing with your mind. The only real and true reality is what Gods Word says about anything. Refuse to be deceived by the lies around. Just because people get things messed up and wrong in the areas of love relationships and marriages doesn't mean you will walk in that path. God want you to have the best and He has provided it for you already, you only have to believe His word and follow his foot steps so you get to the right destination. You too can can have a wonderful marriage that could witness a golden anniversary with joy, have a beautiful home where you raise children that would become great leaders or have a model marriage where everyone wants to emulate. All these are possible when you let Jesus take the wheels of your life.

Rather than go on with my words, I will let you sink into His Word. Just open your heart to them as you read, I believe your time to evolve has come.......

Psalm 32:10
