LOVES'S STRENGTH

To love at all is to be vulnerable. Love anything and your heart will be wrung and possibly broken. If you want to make sure of keeping it intact you must give it to no one. Wrap it carefully round with hobbies and little luxuries;avoid entanglement. Lock it up safe in the casket or coffin of your selfishness. But in that casket, safe, dark,motionless, airless, it will change, it will not be broken; it will become unbreakable, impenetrable, irredeemable. To love is to be vulnerable." - C.S Lewis.

Love suffers long and is kind; love does not envy; love does not parade itself, is not puffed up.


I know a Man though being in the form of God didn't think of Himself too highly but made himself as a servant, laying His life down for people that were not friends with God. This same man because of the abundance of Love He had for the same people when He was beaten and maltreated, requested that they be forgiven.

He judged them as not knowing what they were doing. He humbled himself to the point of shame and humiliation whereas He could have called legions of angels to come to His aid.

True love puts you on the edge for others yet it never makes you fall, rather it makes you stand out unique just like Christ Jesus. Choose to love and you'll have no regrets but more love and riches that this earth and eternity can offer.
