LOVE'S BEST

A lot of times when people get caught up in their emotions with the opposite sex and are yet to be sure of how to define the whole feeling, they tend to just call such a liking or a strong like, knowing fully well that it would be crazy for one to term it love. Like can be said to be a smaller dose of love or a watered down version of love. Like is a conditional emotion, a superficial feeling whose continuity is hinged on certain reasons. But true love is way much different. Love is an unconditional emotion that goes deeper, hinged upon something so strong and that has no reason to it because once it does that makes it no different from its shadow, like.

That's why love will always be the greatest because nothing else can do what it does and yield so much. It's the most excellent way on which to travel. It's a deliberate choice to stick with someone even after understanding and knowing that person. Rather than seeing faults you claim weren't there at the start of your relationship that have the potential of wanting you to discontinue, choose to see your spouse/partner through the eyes of true love. Love has a way of focusing on the greatness that can emerge from your spouse/partner. Love does not give its best because the person being loved is at their best. Rather love gives its best even when the person being loved is at their worst, believing that their best will emerge.

In conclusion, I believe many of us have friends close and dear to our hearts and some others that are just in the platonic level. When you allow true love breed inside you and rule you, you can only be placed above your contemporaries like the tallest tree in a forest which gets all the sun rays it needs to nourish itself. This is what true love does to you and for you. So, deliberately choose its course and leave a trail for others to follow.
