LOVE'S CONFESSION

There are times when love may seem like a game especially for some people who generally find it hard to express themselves. Since they have issues with expressing what's in their heart and are not saying anything, the whole thing looks like a confusing puzzle. When it comes to matters of the heart, such people often find themselves in a very difficult situation. But in wanting to have a successful love life, there's the point where you act because way down in your heart you know you should. This point of action is crucial. You have to bring yourself to that point where you make the move to tell the lady how much you love her. I have heard some people say the male folks should not be the only ones to make the first move. By that I mean going ahead to "ask for a relationship". The people in this school of thought believe that nothing stops a lady from doing that as well. My opinion is different as I do not agree with their position.

My point however in saying all these is that you do not have to wait till you see supernaturally the hand writing on the wall before you take the bold step to go ahead and give love a chance to thrive. Life is real. Stop having spooky ideas. Even life itself is about taking risks and like the opening verse states, if you keep delaying and observing the negative environmental factors/conditions, before you know it that person who you would have had the opportunity to make yours will one day come to you and invite you to be her guest at her wedding ceremony. It has happened before and it will happen to you if you don't sit up, take the bull by the horn and make the decision to go ahead to make her yours. It's funny that ladies generally anticipate the move from the guy, while guys generally are scared. I wonder why. Let's note though that this issue of being frank and speaking your heart to the one you love is not only for those who are intending to start a relationship but also for those who are already courting and the married as well.

Dear friend, appreciate your spouse/partner now. Do not wait till they are separated from you by reason of distance or a breakup. Also, right now do not assume that they already know you love them. Even if they know it, confirm what they know with what you say. Tell them you love them and show them. Let's not chase, discourage or lose the precious people God has brought to us because of words we neglect to say. With words of appreciation you can keep people in your life that otherwise you'd have lost. Life is very short, so, start being true to your heart. Confess your love today. Having said that, we should understand that this should only be done in sync with God's approved standards.. For example, as a man/woman who is married or engaged, you have no business detailing to another person of the opposite sex how much you love them all in the name of speaking your mind and being true to your heart. That is called flirting and it's unacceptable.
