You know, having to be able to sit still and think of something intriguing about true love that would capture and bless the hearts of people as they read what you have composed can be so amazing and with the way it keeps happening day after day, I can only blow kisses and always reaffirm my love to the one and only True Love personified Himself, my heavenly Father. The way He tickles me with joy I certainly cannot tell but I guess you can imagine, for I love Him because He first loved me and He's the best thing that keeps happening to me every single day. Now let's dive into what He cooked up today for you. God in His goodness and graciousness has given us the privilege to meet and interact with people. It's a great honour.

One pastime I so enjoy is watching movies for the fun of it and surely the categories I like, you guessed right, are romantic films such as the ones that have titles with love in them such as Eat Pray Love, Love and Other Disasters, PS: I Love You and lots more. I could go on and on but the problem is that most of these films do not tell us what true love is. Rather they glorify infatuation and take romantic love (eros) out of the context for which God designed it. These movies make people believe that this misrepresentation is love. I'm personally not against romantic love, as a matter of fact its vital especially in marriage. What I desire is that people become grounded and exposed to what true love really means in order to apply its various expressions in the right context. This is what Love Issues is committed to doing.

There's a kind of love that's expressed between friends (phileo), a kind of love that slowly grows, taking its root deep into the soil of understanding each other. This which can transform to a strong lasting love if nurtured between a man and a woman. It can never transform to become infatuation because it's a love that time itself works upon. This kind of love should be desired. Respect your friendships. Value the friends you're fond of today. Do not let go of old friends because they are hard to come by. Cherish the love between you and your friends because there are few things in life that surpass the treasure of true friendship. As I bring today's post to an end, i still await a movie titled Love and Friendship.
